Our Events

We will hold a variety of events that provide networking and educational opportunities.  We will hold two large events each year.  One in March in honor of Women's History Month and another in September for Emergency Preparedness Month. 

EMPOWER designs events to provide opportunities for our EMPOWER Associates to hear from women in Emergency Management with a noteworthy story to tell. We organize speakers with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to provide their insights on women achieving accomplished careers, recommendations for success, and the future of Emergency Management. We provide the opportunity for networking among peers in a professional yet casual environment, encouraging discussion of innovative ideas.
